M&S moves slowly toward online food sales

Marks & Spencer, which announced last week that it has begun offering a click-and-collect service for more than 50 fish and meat products, will need to seriously consider adding full-service online food sales to stay competitive, said former CEO and current Ocado Chairman Stuart Rose. "By next year, M&S will be the only large grocer that doesn't have [an online grocery service]. If the customer wants it, eventually they are going to have to provide it," he said.
