Outagamie County Regional Airport in Appleton, Wis., celebrated the grand opening of its new $3.6 million general aviation facility this week. The new 8,000-square-foot terminal is part of the airport's master plan to separate GA activity from the main terminal. "One of the neatest improvements is that once we moved to the south side of the airport ... there's a lot more interaction between us and the tenants that are renting hangar space there. It just makes it that much easier for us to continue to grow those synergies and make a vibrant general aviation airport active again," said Pat Heil, manager of the GA facility.
