Psoriasis patients show higher kidney disease risk, data show

A study in BMJ revealed patients with moderate to severe psoriasis had increased odds of developing chronic kidney disease compared with those who did not have the skin disorder. The findings highlight the importance of careful monitoring of patients with psoriasis, researchers said.
