Sun, sky and 4-legged friends take the edge off chemo

10/16/2013

"I got home feeling pretty ill from chemo. It's a lot like having the flu all of a sudden, nausea, fatigue, aches, headache. Icky. The girls want and expect to take a walk every day. If I explain I'm sick, they look and wag tails in anticipated excitement of the walk they already know we are going on. So, we went for the walk, naturally. Even though I felt lousy, the air, and sky were beautiful. ... Somehow, it just makes things better." -- Post on Randy's Cancer Blog
