Rothstein: Terror's Roots Should Be Explored

The New York Times columnist Richard Rothstein argues that schools should not neglect studying the causes of terror -- or what aspects of U.S. culture or policy could have engendered the attacks. Although studying the roots of terror is characterized as unpatriotic, Rothstein says, doing so will better educate Americans.
