Call centers field drive-through orders

McDonald's, Wendy's International and CKE Restaurants are among the quickservice chains testing the viability of turning drive-through orders over to call centers in an effort to keep the car line shorter and speed overall service. Call center software provider Exit41 calculates that drive-through sales have increased an average of 8% at the 40 restaurants using its software.
