Third of nations lack drug distribution plan for flu pandemic

Although most countries have made plans for dealing with an influenza pandemic, a third of them do not know how they would distribute the drugs to treat the disease. Researchers said scarce resources dictate that countries must plan in advance who would be the first to receive the medicines. The researchers studied 45 pandemic plans, including those from both developed and developing countries.
