Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson urges Congress to keep the Internet tax-free in a RealClearPolitics commentary. A measure extending a moratorium on Internet taxes by four years from its Nov. 1 expiration passed the House on Tuesday. "With more than 65 million household broadband connections we're looking at more than $3 billion in new taxes if the Internet Tax Moratorium expires at the end of October," Thompson said.
