Study: Chronic stomach problems cause people to miss work

Functional gastrointestinal disorders cause U.S. workers to miss at least one full day every 40-hour workweek, according to a study. Those missing the most hours had irritable bowel syndrome with constipation, chronic constipation or functional dyspepsia.
