Aspirin may cause internal bleeding in diabetics, study says

A U.K. study that observed 1,276 diabetics over eight years found that aspirin did not lower the risk of heart attack and may have even triggered stomach bleeding. Doctors should prescribe the drug only to people who suffered a stroke or who were diagnosed with heart disease, the lead researcher said.
