Two bridge projects in Louisiana face delays due to the tougher market for municipal bonds and declining gas tax revenues. The Huey P. Long Bridge and the John James Audubon Bridge both face budget shortfalls. The state planned on raising $485 million in bonds to finance the bridge work, but cannot find favorable terms in the current market.
