Congress rejects proposal for light attack aircraft

Congress recently rejected a $17 million proposal to build light attack aircraft. Embraer and Hawker Beechcraft offered turboprop aircraft for the proposal, which had strong support from the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force.
