More hotels open their doors to pets

According to APPA, 25% of dog owners took their pet along on a vacation last year, and that number will likely increase as pets are allowed at more hotels and other lodging destinations. Gloria Cipri Kemer recently began allowing pets at her Emerald Necklace Inn in Cleveland after years of turning away potential customers, charging $25 more to cover the more intensive post-checkout cleaning.
