Principal sees Twitter as a useful tool for educators

Eric Sheninger, principal of New Milford High School in New Jersey, has amassed more than 14,500 followers on Twitter since he joined the microblogging site in 2009. Sheninger, who also is a Google Certified Teacher, is an advocate for social media as a tool for sharing tips and best practices among educators and administrators. He also promotes the use of mobile devices for academic purposes and bring-your-own-technology policies for schools.
