"School at Work" program helps health care workers move up

The eight-month "School at Work" program in southeast Wisconsin helped people with low-paying health care jobs, such as in housekeeping or food service, earn a college degree and become nursing assistants, nurses or technicians. Hospitals that offered the program liked it so much that the Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board has budgeted additional grant money to offer it again.
