Schools offer online classes, but challenges remain

More districts, and some states, are requiring students to take online courses before graduation to prepare them for college and career. However, the trend also has raised concerns about equity among students from critics who say not all students have access to the Internet at home and students in rural areas could be at a disadvantage. Also, some districts with limited funds could find it difficult to meet such mandates, officials say.
