U.S. business travel up 6.9% this year but will drop in 2012, group says

U.S. companies loosened their purse strings in 2011, but business travel will suffer another setback in 2012, the Global Business Travel Association predicts. "Anxiety over an uncertain economic climate is expected to slow travel spending growth next year," Hugo Martin writes. International business travel has already experienced a decline, the International Air Transport Association said.
