Isis mobile wallet to start Monday in 2 cities

The Isis mobile-payment service backed by carriers will begin trials in Salt Lake City and Austin, Texas, on Monday after a one-month delay. AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile USA have invested in the service that will let consumers pay for products simply by touching their smartphones to in-store terminals. Isis said the service should to available on as many as 20 types of smartphones by year's end.
