Obama and Romney battle over economy and taxes as election nears

President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney engaged in a highly anticipated second debate as the election looms. The candidates focused on the economy, taxes, security and social issues. Unlike during their first debate, Mr. Obama and Mr. Romney repeatedly interrupted and contradicted each other. While Mr. Romney was largely seen as winning the first debate, the victor in the rematch was less clear.
