ACA remains intact after budget deal is reached

The Affordable Care Act remained in place and funded after lawmakers reached an agreement to end the partial government shutdown and raise the debt limit. The deal requires the use of tighter income checks when people apply for tax subsidies under the health care law. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said a further fight was ahead over the ACA when talks begin over long-term budget deals in the coming months.
