Canada's Canterbury Coffee makes single-serve sustainable

Canterbury Coffee spent two years developing its first single-serve coffee pod because it wanted to go to market with a more sustainable alternative to the increasingly popular K-cup, says senior marketing manager Derek Perkins. The result: a pod made from 90% biodegradable material that can be thrown on the compost pile instead of the trash heap.
