Nestlé joins forces with bottle-to-bottle recycling plant

Nestlé Waters North America has signed on with CarbonLite, which plans to build a bottle-to-bottle recycling plant in Texas that will recycle 1.6 billion old plastic bottles per year into polyethylene terephthalate pellets to make into new bottles. Production is scheduled to begin in late 2014, and Nestlé will use the bottles for its Ozarka brand water.
