Nielsen: Internet ad spending boom boosts Latin America, Asia-Pacific

Global advertising expenditures rose in every region of the world but Europe in the first half of 2013 compared with the year-earlier period, according to Nielsen. European spending declined 6%, which was in contrast to Latin America and Asia-Pacific, which rose 13.1% and 6.4% overall, with Internet spending increasing 38.5% and 43%, respectively, year over year.
