Verizon Wireless and cable companies including Comcast and Time Warner Cable have ended a joint venture that sought to create technology combining wireless and wireline products. "Evolving technology and market changes since the joint venture was formed have led all parties to conclude that a joint venture, per se, is no longer needed to deliver innovative services to customers," a Verizon Wireless spokeswoman said. However, the companies will continue to jointly market and bundle their services.
