British unveil shake-up to secondary curriculum

Today, a British government-commissioned panel issued a 200-page report that radically redesigns the curriculum for 14- to 19-year-olds. The group's recommendations replace A-levels, GCSEs and vocational qualifications with a four-level diploma, allow self-paced learning and provide more options for vocational training at an earlier age.
