Travel buyers must navigate a hotel room shortage

Corporate travel buyers could be facing an extended sellers' market, with travel rates up and hotel room supply not keeping pace with demand. To gain negotiating leverage with hotels, companies should "ask an expansive amount of questions about everything you'd want to know about the hotel and amenities it offer," says Priscilla Campbell of American Express Business Travel Advisory Services Group.
