Kindle unavailable in China, South Korea, other Asian nations

Amazon's Kindle is available to consumers in Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Laos, but readers in China, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Zealand are currently out of luck. Also, the availability of certain Kindle features varies depending on the country. Charlie Tritschler of Amazon-owned Lab126, which developed the Kindle, said the e-reader will be marketed to avid, tech-savvy readers in Asia.
