Lawmakers are considering revival of D.C. voucher program

Congressional lawmakers appear to be reconsidering a decision earlier this year to end Washington, D.C.'s school-voucher program that offers public-school students vouchers to pay private-school tuition. Some say they would be willing to fund the program again if changes were made, including requiring students using vouchers to take standardized tests given to their public-school peers.
