Malaysian leader calls for stronger science, maths education

The Malaysian prime minister told teachers last week that the country needs to strengthen teaching in maths, science and technology. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak called on educators to focus on building curiosity and creativity among their students. He also stressed the importance of teaching foreign languages, including English, in schools to make students more competitive in a global market.
