Marriott seeks changes in immigration law

J.W. Marriott Jr. has been directing campaign contributions toward Republicans by a 5-to-1 margin. But the chairman of Marriott International might be disappointed if Republicans block changes to immigration law that the hotel company is seeking. Marriott, Hilton Worldwide and other companies want lawmakers to allow them to hire more legal immigrant workers. But leading Republicans say they will concentrate efforts on border security instead of changes sought by the businesses.
