Study: Veteran Texas teachers more likely to work in wealthy schools

The most experienced Texas teachers are working in more affluent areas, according to a recent study that found the state's poorest schools hired the most inexperienced educators. "In other words, the students who are most in need of the most-qualified teachers are the least likely to be taught by them," said the president of the Association of Texas Professional Educators, which funded the study.
