U.K. pizza chain trains staff in the subtle art of flirting

Pizza Express has employed several trained actors to teach staff the art of subtle flirting with an eye at putting customers more at ease. Word of Mouth blogger Tim Hayward finds the prospect a bit creepy, saying eateries already employ too much artificial charm in their interactions with guests. "All of it - the whole highly-trained, slightly clammy and cultish-feeling 'hi-I'm-Danny-and-I'll-be-your-server' business seems cynical, false and utterly un-British."
