ATA launches new ad campaign against aviation taxes:

Nicholas Calio, president of the Air Transport Association, showed off an air-sickness bag emblazoned with "Sick of taxes?" at an industry luncheon. The bags are part of the launch of a new advertising campaign against proposed aviation taxes. Calio said some members of Congress consider new airline taxes "low-hanging fruit" ready for the picking. "These should be the forbidden fruit," Calio said. "Whatever you want to call them, the airline tax proposals make no sense whatsoever."
