China Southern receives superjumbo, protests EU emissions scheme

China Southern took delivery of its first A380 superjumbo last week, and continued to protest the proposed emissions trading scheme by the European Union. "The EU's decision on emissions would to a large extent affect an airline's operating costs and at the end of the day the interests of our passengers," said Si Xianmin, the airline's chairman.
