New Orleans chefs go pink for a cause

America is swathed in pink this month to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer, and eateries are no exception. In New Orleans, 31 restaurants have joined Ritz Carlton executive chef Vinny Russo, whose story of a friend dealing with the disease sparked NOLA Goes Pink, a monthlong fixed-price event with 10% of sales from low-fat menus going to the cause.
