Online sales in U.K. surge while traditional retail sales inch up

Online sales in Britain jumped 15% last month compared with September 2010, while traditional retailers saw sales rise 0.3%, according to an industry report. Home and garden, clothing and liquor sales led the increase in e-commerce, while electronics and other more expensive categories saw slower growth.
