Sources: Samsung fabs A6 processor as TSMC falters

Samsung Electronics reportedly is fabricating the A6 processor for Apple as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing is having difficulty producing the quad-core application processor, according to The Korea Times, which cited Apple component suppliers as its sources. Samsung is said to be making the processor with a 28-nanometer process at its advanced wafer fabrication facility in Austin, Texas.
