Survey: Wage increases for doctors expected to decline in 2012

Salary increases for doctors from all types of health care organizations will be around 2.5% in 2012, down from 2.7% wage increases this year, according to Hay Group's 2011 Physician Compensation Survey. Primary care doctors might receive higher wage increases than specialists due to labor shortages, the group said.
