American Airlines is working with Boeing over delayed 787-9 delivery schedule:

In a recent court filing, AMR, parent company of American Airlines, reiterated the delayed schedule Boeing is predicting for delivery of its 787-9 Dreamliners. The 42 jets were originally scheduled to be delivered between 2012 and 2018, but production issues pushed back the schedule two to three years. "We are in discussions with Boeing and are working together toward a new delivery schedule," said Andrea Huguely, an American spokeswoman.
