Physician empathy, service drive patient satisfaction, survey finds

A Harris Interactive survey showed 79% of respondents who went to their doctors at least once in the past year were extremely or very satisfied with the visit, 42% of whom said customer service played a role in their feelings about their experience. Specifically, respondents cited visit duration and physician empathy among other factors as key contributors to overall satisfaction.
