Analysis: Budget crisis hurts U.S. bonds' reputation

The fight over the debt ceiling has hurt the reputation of Treasury bills, despite the fact that the U.S. did not end up defaulting, according to some analysts. "There's a fundamental change in their risk profile. There's a growing lack of confidence. It's going to be problematic," said Tom Nelson of Reich & Tang.
