Asteroid that recently brushed past Earth due back in 19 years

An asteroid that buzzed by Earth in September will come back in about 19 years for another close encounter, scientists say, but just how close it will come is causing some debate. Scientists say the odds of it striking Earth are 1:63,000. "With more observations, I fully expect we will be able to significantly reduce, or rule out entirely, any impact probability for the foreseeable future," said NASA Near-Earth Object Program Manager Don Yeomans.
