Disney Cruise Line has announced that completion of the five-week makeover of the Disney Magic has been delayed, prompting the cancellation of the vessel's first cruise, which was to depart Sunday. "We encountered challenging weather conditions that made the necessary work impossible to complete in time for the first cruise," said Disney Cruise Line spokeswoman Rena Langley. The ship's first post-overhaul cruise will begin Oct. 25. A full refund and reimbursement of airline charge fees will be available to affected passengers, along with a free cruise on the ship before May 2014.
