How science grads can focus their resume to land a job

Graduates with science degrees seeking jobs in the industry must tailor their resumes to fit the job they're seeking, David Jensen, founder of CareerTrax Inc., writes in this column. Like other academic resumes, science-focused resumes should include standard information such as work history. However, specific skills can be worked into the history, and presentations, workshops, publications and committee work should also be added, Jensen suggests. "Today, focus, customization and [follow-up] will earn you big rewards," Jensen writes.
