Madelaine Chocolate restarts production after Sandy

Madelaine Chocolate is open for the first time and producing chocolate turkeys for the holiday season almost a year after Hurricane Sandy destroyed the chocolatier's machinery and inventory. While only half of the 200,000-square-foot facility is functioning and more equipment needs to be repaired, the company has rehired some of its 450 former workers who were laid off after the storm.
