NBAA convention is expected to draw crowds, not orders

Some 30 Wichita, Kan.-based businesses are set to attend the National Business Aviation Association's 63rd annual convention. About 25,000 attendees and 1,100 exhibitors are expected at the show, which opens next week in Las Vegas, although industry executives say a big uptick in orders is not likely. "The primary excitement [of the show] is being with our customers," said Brad Thress, senior vice president for business jets at Cessna Aircraft.
