Ore. will recognize same-sex marriages performed out of state

Oregon will recognize all same-sex marriages performed out of state, including other countries, according to a memo to state agencies released Thursday. The change, which is effective immediately, came the day after two same-sex couples filed legal challenges to the state's same-sex marriage ban.
