Schools focus on cafeteria design to attract students

Some school districts are asking students to weigh in about cafeteria design and their current dining experiences. The San Francisco Unified School District recently brought students together for a prototyping session, where they discussed future changes, such as using a mobile application to preorder meals. Ambiance and service are some of the details that can make school meals more appealing for students, suggested Orla O'Keeffe, executive director of policy and operations.
