The wellness-travel movement is gaining momentum with the emergence of Pravassa Wellness Travel and other travel retailers that aim to capitalize on this growing market. Pravassa founder Linden Schaffer says travel agents need to question their clients to determine the type of wellness vacation they desire. "Are they hoping to start some kind of wellness practice? Are they hoping to learn more about culture and their food? They have to get to know their clients on a different level than they're used to, because this is a very personal kind of travel," Schaffer said.
