Hoteliers move to alternative methods of pool chlorination

Saltwater chlorination of commercial swimming pools, which has been practiced in Australia and New Zealand for more than 25 years, is catching on in the U.S. and other parts of the world as a preferred method of pool sanitation. Hoteliers are finding that saltwater, and other chlorine alternatives can accomplish the same goal of chlorine -- of killing bacteria -- but without the chemicals.
